I have a feeling ya'll are going to hear this from me loads of times over the next few months, but I am so tired of moving D:

We made a lot of progress this week and the family plans to take tomorrow off since it's the last day of Spring Break and school is back in session on Monday. I'm sad that the week went by so quickly, but on the other hand having things back to the normal schedule will be nice.

Season three of Robin Hood started today (in the UK at least) and I have no idea if I'm going to watch it. I am still angry about the ending of season two so with that in mind I have no desire to continue to watch the show, but I might as well give the new episode a chance. The show has always been fantastic in my opinion but I have doubts if they will be able to come back from what they have done.

I hope everyone is enjoying similar weather like we've been having here in Northern California. It's been in the high seventy/low eighty range for the past few days and it's beautiful. I adore the Spring and I can't wait to put away all my jackets and sweaters :D

I planned on giving a proper update and finishing catching up on the flist tonight, but I'm feeling a bit under the weather (the Cough of Doom is back) so I figure I'm gonna head to bed early. It's only nine, but I figure sleep will help.

I don't have work tomorrow and piano isn't until three in the afternoon, so I have more than enough time to do all that I wanted in the morning before I head to the campus.

I hope everyone had a good weekend and I apologize in advance for late comments on old entries XD

Once again, it seems I'm coming down sick D:

I was feeling a bit under the weather all weekend, also being a bit whiny which is usually an indicator that I feel unwell, but I was hoping it was allergies. I'm not ruling that out completely, but when it comes down to it I'm feeling way funky.

I stayed home today, and while I did miss work and band, I was able to finish two books. Not that big of a deal since I was halfway through both of them, but keeping in mind how much I haven't been reading as of late I count it as an accomplishment.

I also watched Return of the Jedi and I'm now in the middle of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban since I haven't really left bed all day. All in all, I accomplished little in the real world and loads for geeky accomplishments. I'm irritated that I only own the original Star Wars movies and none of the new ones, but I've noticed that all of the movies have been reissued out on DVD in cheap box sets, so I might pick those up next time I'm out and about.

It's only ten o'clock, but I'm exhausted so I'll be heading back to bed now.

P.S.- I guess I'll be seeing you all around after the server move tomorrow. I know they start at eight am or something, but I know nothing about the estimated time of when LJ will be back up. So here's hoping for a safe and quick move!

Oh this is just great.

Someone turned on the oven, the place where I was storing the cupcakes I made yesterday, and now the house is filled with smoke. And my dad says since it's plastic smoke that we shouldn't breath any in, but it's everywhere. No one is admitting to turning the oven on, and it's just weird because no one really turned on the thermostat part, the only part turned on was the bake/broil and it was only halfway turned on. IT MAKES NO FREAKING SENSE!

There are no flames or anything, but this smoke is killing my lungs and eyes.

I really hope our neightbors don't take it upon themselves to call the fire department or anything.

DAMMIT!

As usual, I'm happy that the week is half over. It's not been a particually long week in my mind, but it's nice that it's almost over just the same.

One thing I look forward to is an actual day of rest. I don't know if it's the weather or my anemia kicking in, but I'm more tired than usual. I'm getting decent amounts of sleep, but no matter how much I get I'm still sleepy. I ended up ditching band today and headed home after work, and took a nap. I normally do not sleep during the day, but this was needed it seems. Sadly I'm pretty sure it's going to mess with my sleep tonight, but since I work tomorrow and then have Friday off I think I'll manage.

The sickness season seems to be in full swing at work as of this week. (Eep!!) There were two people out today, and the rest of us were showing signs of what the other people currently have. I'm blaming my tiredness plus allergies, but we all felt kinda funky today. This is a major problem in my little work place, all of us getting sick at once. Some of us have to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps so to speak and come in no matter what, since so many others call in. We seem to be avoiding that issue this week, but it's only a matter of time until it hits hard. All I can say is that I'm going to be drinking orange juice until it runs out of my ears.

As much of a pain it is to deal with the lack of energy issue, what bugs the most is that I have no energy at all to watch television. I watched Pushing Daisies tonight and SCC on Monday, but beyond that I haven't seen anything else. I figure that's what the weekend is for, beyond homework I mean, but it's still a pain to be behind on it all and have to avoid the spoiler bombs all over the net. I have no one to blame but myself, but I can't seem to accumilate enough energy to care.

But I swear I will not miss Supernatural on pain of death tomorrow, I will always have enough energy for that :D

I hope everyone is having an alright week thus far, and that the weather isn't too bad where you are. We're still seeing 80 degree weather here in California, so I have no idea how it is elsewhere in the world where the weather is normal.

And just because I'm curious, who can guess what movie this icon is from? There's no prize or anything involved, but I'm just wondering who would know it off the bat.

When you see this, quote Supernatural in your LJ.

Sam: Dean, there's ten times as much lore about angels as there is about anything else we've ever hunted.

Dean: You know what, there's a ton of lore on unicorns too. In fact, I I hear that they ride on silver moonbeams, and that they shoot rainbows out of their ass!

Sam: Wait, there's no such thing as unicorns?

I can't believe it's only Tuesday. I've been working mega long hours at the bookstore, which I cannot bitch about since it means that I can actually get some things done, and have a sweet paycheck to boot.

Speaking of work, I have a funny story I want to share. Let's put it this way, it shows how geeky I really am.

One of the temps, who I will call J, is now a part of the normal staff as of this week. She tried to log into the register, for the first time in a long while, yesterday afternoon while I was working at my desk. She comes back and tells us (who includes my boss, a coworker and myself) that the computer is not letting her log in, and that it is telling her 'Associate Terminated'.

My response? 'Oh my god J, the computer has become self aware. It's Terminator Judgement Day, you better run and safe yourself! The robots will be after you soon!' She of course gives me a lost look, while my boss and other coworker get what I was saying and laugh.

Yeah I'll admit it, I was looking forward to the new episode of SCC last night (which I ended up missing D: ) and had it on my mind. It's not my fault I'm such a dork. I got a good amount of laughs about it from my dad and brother, they thought it was hilarious.

Also, OMG IT'S ALMOST THURSDAY! Supernatural is almost here! :D

Today was a very long day. Worked nine or so hours, and then went to class.

This class gets it's own mention, since it was symphoic band and I'm so happy that I joined up. Words cannot describe how wonderful it was to be around music and playing again. I'll admit I didn't play much today since it's been a long time since I last touched a bari sax, but I'm glad to report that I didn't forget nearly as much as I had thought.

We're playing some really good much this semester, and we might even get to play some Bernstein for the last concert which makes me so happy because I'm a long time fan of his (and so is the teacher). I had this huge smile on my face after class because I just miss it all, the people and the music. It's almost like coming home.

Ok, enough of the sappy stuff.

Bones was a joy to watch tonight. I'm glad that it's back on TV, and even though I miss Zack I think the season is doing pretty well so far.

Other than that, I'm more than ready for bed because I have another long day ahead of me tomorrow.

And talk about coinsidence, there's a concert of Bernstein's on PBS right now. It was a concert to celebrate the fall of the Berlin Wall, and it seems to be mostly Beethoven's music. Sweet.

First of all, I missed the first fifteen minutes of the episode. I totally forgot SCC was on tonight, and my own mother had to remind me.

Thoughts behind cut, since they are of the spoiler variety )

All in all, I welcome the new season with open arms. I was worried that they weren't going to renew it, and this episode speaks volumes that it was a good choice that they did. Here's to an awesome season people!!

Got back from Sacramento a few hours ago. Dad had an eye surgery scheduled at Mercy this afternoon, and I'm happy to say they didn't have to take the lasers to his eyes this time around which means that he's doing better. The longer he keeps his full sight, the better.

I've been putting homework off all day and the later it gets the more inclined I'm in thinking that I'm not going to get much done. I at least got the laundry done! I have a long work week ahead of me, and a little ray of sunshine is that I don't have English class on Wednesday and Friday. That gives me time to catch up on both that class and math. And maybe my online life, since I am way behind on many projects and some free time would be appreciated.

And congrads to JKR for the ruling about the Lexicon business. I always figured that the court would rule in her favor, but it's good to hear that there is some justice in the world left.

SEE THAT MEYER, NOT EVERYONE HAS TO CRY TO GET WHAT SHE WANTS! Sorry...had to get that out :D

I've spent the entire day (that I've been a part of the awake world) lying in bed watching The 10th Kingdom and reading Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife when I need to take a break from the television.

I'm not feeling any better, and it's getting to be a very large pain. Well, it was a pain in the butt this entire week, being sick while having to go on with life like work and tests, but it's just wearing me out being sick. I want to be well enough to be able to spend time doing school work or getting things done around the house, instead of not being able to do anything beyond lying like a lazy person in bed.

I have grand plans to get some school work done tomorrow, as well as laundry and all those other weekend chores, so here's hoping that I can get out of bed tomorrow for longer than twenty minutes.

I suspect that this is a bit on the whiny side, but I think I'm allowed a bit of it lol

Oh, and Mother Nature, enough is enough. It's September now, we don't need anymore one hundred degree days. It's time to start busting out the sweaters, not shorts. Thanks.

Been sick since Monday. Couldn't take the time off from work since it's the end of the month, which means paperwork from hell for the accountant (me) and it all has to be out by the end of the week.

Not only have I been working full days, I'm heading to work five hours early tomorrow so that it can all be done. I have a fever, sore throat, everything pretty much that comes with being sick, so this is a big deal since all I want to do is crawl into bed and never come out.

Another reason there was no time allowed for rest because of an essay and math test that all happened today, which I have been getting ready for since Saturday. But that is done, so all I have to get through is work tomorrow and then I can sleep until next Monday.

The one good thing this week, BONES!

Dear gods, that was an awesome episode. My dad and I both agreed that it's not fair that they gave us two hours of it tonight and then they are expecting us to be ok with only one hour from now on. My feeling about this episode can be pretty much sumed up as SQUEE!

Now I'm going to eat my chicken noodle soup and then sleep.

Here I am, sitting at my computer at two-thirty in the morning waiting for three o'clock to hit. Why you ask? Because it seems I'm addicted to French operas.

Last night my mom clued me into some musical thing on PBS last night, because she knows I adore any kind of musical theatre. Turns out it was the Metropolitan performing la Fille du Regiment. It was stellar, so much so that I was up until six in the morning watching it.

Lo and behold, there is another Metropolitan performance tonight, same time slot, of La boheme. I'm so excited, I can't even tell you. I feel like a nerd being so happy about this being on TV, but then again I'm a music geek in any form so I might as well go along with what I'm good at. Also, I adore Rent so this is a treat to see the inspiration Larson had for his rock opera.

Yes, I have classwork and other such college related things to finish this weekend. Yes, I need to sleep. But I am so going to ignore it all to watch this tonight. As a bonus, I get to see the sun come up before I fall asleep :D

Also, bee stings are no fun. I got stung twice by the same wasp Friday night in the middle of the night. Yeah, I know that makes no sense.

Even more of a mind bender is that I was dive bombed by another wasp in the Wal-Mart parking lot the very next day. He didn't get me, only because I flailed around like an insane person. A buddy of his prehaps? (Which in my mind adds credence to my last post about bugs and being afraid of their friends coming for revenge.)

Dear gods, this has been a long week. I won't go into details because I am just so tired, but I'm so glad there's only one more day until the weekend.

Tomorrow is a full day, over eight hours at work to live through, and then I have shopping and classes to catch up on so that I can have the weekend free to do nothing but sleep and lie around. I've almost forgotten what sleep and free time is like, so I plan on reminding myself in massive amounts.

Off to bed now, so much earlier than normal, since I have to be up at the crack of dawn to head to work.

Wish me luck! Today is the first day of classes out at the college, thus it's going to be insane at the bookstore. I'm lucky this semester with having to work in the afternoon until closing, which is much better in my mind then working earlier in the day. Yeah, the crowds are worse but I'm more awake in the afternoon than first thing in the morning.

Sadly I won't be home until 10 or so tonight, and then I have my classes to look forward to when I get here. Thankfully they're on television so I can watch them when I need to, but that means that college won't be out of mind until after midnight tonight. Which is lame, but I'll live.

I might be a bit MIA this week in the way of comments and entries so I'm sorry about that. I'm hoping I will come out of this with my sanity intact, but only time will tell.

Have a good Monday all! :D

Here I sit, minding my own business while talking to my sister, when I see this BIG FAT spider sitting on my pile of dirty clothes. I normally do not freak outover your garden variety spiders that I pretty much see every day, but this one was huge and mean looking. So of course, I screamed. I'm proud to say my sister did too, and we both yeled for my brother, who is known to be the spider killer of the family.

He comes in, goes to kill it, and of course it bites him. I freak, he persues, and eventualy he kills it. My first thought? OMG IT'S A BROWN RECLUSE!! (For those who don't know, it's a very bad spider. My folks always told me about them when I was a kid, as a caution for the future, but of course my mind has made them into the ultimate fear. And in all honesty, they don't even live in California.)

My mom hears this, freaks, insists that I look it up on the net. I look, and find that indeed it is not a brown recluse, or any other spider I can look up. We can't find it. My brother still feels fine, and we're keeping an eye on him. In the end we kinda figured it was a wolf spider, even though what pics we find don't really match, but until my brother turns blue and passes out I figure we're ok.

All is calm now, except for the fact that I have huge case of the wiggins and I'm not so much convinced that there isn't another spider waiting around to avenge his buddy when I fall asleep. Did I mention I hate spiders?
